NSFOCUS has discovered that Palo Alto Networks patched a command injection vulnerability (CVE-2024-3400) in its firewall operating system, PAN-OS. An unfiltered user input issue in the GlobalProtect gateway or portal configuration could let unauthenticated attackers execute arbitrary code on the firewall. The severity score of the vulnerability is maximum at 10.0. With proof of this vulnerability now publicly available, users are urged to implement protective measures immediately.
