Pacific Premier Bancorp has suffered a data breach via a third-party vendor, due to the MOVEit hack. Personal data, including social security numbers and account numbers, were exposed. The scale of the breach is unknown, but it doesn’t appear to have involved the bank’s internal network or IT systems. Other businesses using MOVEit have also recently suffered data breaches.
