Over 19 million people could enroll in coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplaces for 2024, preliminary data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) shows. The extended pandemic-era subsidies and Medicaid redeterminations could be contributing to an increase in ACA enrollment. The enrollment period ends on January 16.
