OSF HealthCare patients might be affected by a major health care data breach involving partner company Welltok, acquired by Virgin Pulse in 2021. The breach occurred on Welltok’s MoveIt file transfer service, compromising personal data including names, addresses, and limited health insurance details. OSF has stopped sending data to Welltok and Virgin Pulse but the number of affected patients is unknown. Welltok denies any data misuse.
