On May 22, 2025, international law enforcement agencies proceeded with additional measures under Operation Endgame, aimed at dismantling and prosecuting cybercrime organizations including DanaBot, a service frequently used by threat actors. Launched in May 2024, the operation has disrupted several malware entities. DanaBot is frequently used to steal sensitive information and deliver second-stage malware payloads. It has previously been involved in attacks on several government agencies.
