Only 10 percent of Fortune 500 healthcare companies score A for cybersecurity

The healthcare sector is highly susceptible to cyberattacks, with 85% of Fortune 500 healthcare companies rated D or F for cybersecurity by Cybernews. Only 10% achieved an A grade. Overall, the healthcare sector’s average security score was 70. Increased sophistication of cyberattacks and expanding cloud adoption, remote work, and supply chains necessitate better cyber risk assessment. Companies have largely failed to keep up with cyber threats, the research found.
