Okta’s Support System Breach Exposes Customer Data to Unidentified Threat Actors

Okta, an identity services provider, reported a security incident where unidentified actors accessed its support case management system using stolen credentials. Certain customer files were viewed, and while the system was separate from the operational service, Okta warned HAR files containing sensitive data could be misused. It confirmed no customer data was accessed and declined to disclose the scale of the attack. BeyondTrust detected suspicious activity but remediated the incident without any impact; however, access was gained to Cloudflare’s system.
