Okta data breach exposed personal information of employees

Cloud identity and access management solutions provider Okta has warned 4,961 employees that a data breach at Rightway Healthcare, its benefits provider, exposed their personal data. The data breach compromised names, social security numbers, and healthcare plan details of current and former Okta employees. The company also offered two-year credit monitoring and identity theft protection services. The incident, which follows a series of security breaches that Okta has experienced over the past two years, did not affect any of its customers.
