Oklahoma has been ranked among the top ten states least vulnerable to cyber-attacks in 2024, according to a new study by NetworkBuildz. This is in spite of recent attacks on two local hospital systems. An assistant professor from OU Polytechnic Institute suggested the state’s lower population and potentially higher cybersecurity awareness could be factors in the ranking. Concerns were however raised about consistent reporting of cybersecurity incidents across the US.
