NZ halts data, digital jobs cuts and more briefs

New Zealand’s Te Whatu Ora Health has halted restructuring plans that included axing data and digital jobs, following a legal complaint by the Public Service Association trade union. Also, Monash University’s Centre for Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics has received $4m in federal funding over five years to establish Australia’s first national atrial fibrillation ablation registry. Two separate electronic medication and records management systems have been implemented at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse cancer hospital and Rockingham General Hospital in Australia.
