Over 10,000 appointments have been cancelled at two NHS trusts in London following a cyber attack by a Russian gang on pathology services provider Synnovis. A further 578 appointments and 20 operations had to be postponed at Guy’s and St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital trusts, and 60 IT systems are being rebuilt. Synnovis is expected to take over pathology services in southeast London this month.
