Imperial College London has established its first overseas innovation centre, Imperial Global: Singapore, to bolster cybersecurity in healthcare. Funded by a S$20m grant, in partnership with NTU Singapore, the centre will develop protections for implantable medical devices and secure data from wearables and healthcare systems. The first project, IN-CYPHER, aims to safeguard emerging sensing technologies’ data to prevent disruption by accidental or malicious actors.
