The National Records of Scotland (NRS) has revealed that personal and sensitive data it held was publicised after a cyber-attack on NHS Dumfries and Galloway that was first reported in March. Although primary patient health records were not accessed the published data could put NHS staff and patients at a greater risk of identity theft.
