IntelliGenes, a new software at Rutgers Health, uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to measure the significance of genomic biomarkers, potentially predicting diseases. The software, which merges traditional statistical methods with state-of-the-art algorithms, is intuitive enough for non-experts to use. In a study, IntelliGenes was used to discover novel biomarkers and accurately predict cardiovascular disease.
