Researchers developed bispecific antibodies bsAbs CoV2 biRN5 and CoV-biRN7 from convalescent COVID-19 donors that show broad neutralization potency against Omicron variants. These antibodies, comprising N-terminal domain (NTD) and receptor binding domain (RBD), could replace current COVID-19 interventions, which are losing effectiveness due to virus evolution. These findings may form the basis for new effectively neutralizing COVID-19 vaccines and antibody-based therapeutics.
