Not just AIIMS Delhi: Safdarjung Hospital also reports cyberattack

Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi experienced a cyberattack in November, but no data was compromised. The hospital’s IT system was restored by the National Informatics Centre. This comes after AIIMS Delhi also suffered a ransomware attack, causing its digital services to remain offline. Additionally, sensitive patient information from Sree Saran Medical Centre in Tamil Nadu is being sold on the dark web, with the hospital denying any compromise and stating they only used a software provider for a year before switching in 2018.
