North Korean cyber attacker, tracked as Famous Chollima, has used a fake Windows application to backdoor developer systems as part of a financial campaign called Contagious Interview. The attack begins with a false job interview, tricking job seekers into downloading malware that has the capacity for remote control, keylogging, and stealing browser data. The malware, BeaverTail, has also been found disguised as legitimate software for video conferencing, suggesting an evolving and sophisticated attack strategy.
