North Korean hackers target new malware at software developers

North Korean hackers are using a campaign called “Contagious Interview” to target software developers with fake job ads to install malware, according to Palo Alto Networks and NTT Security Japan. The malware, including BeaverTail and OtterCookie, can steal sensitive data such as keys from crypto wallets. Developers are advised to verify potential employers and exercise caution when running code.
