NordVPN’s Threat Protection Pro has topped the list of VPNs for protecting users from malicious websites, according to independent IT security research institute AV-TEST. Out of five VPNs tested, NordVPN had a total detection rate of 83.42%. The feature has also won the highest rating in an anti-malware validation test by West Coast Labs. The Threat Protection Pro tool is only included in Nord’s premium plans.
