The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has announced an update to its Cybersecurity Framework, the first major revision in a decade. The new CSF 2.0 has been broadened to focus on governance and is aimed at all industry sectors and organization types, not just IT. NIST has also created new resources to support the framework’s deployment and alignment with the National Cybersecurity Strategy.
