NIH eRA Reduces Vulnerabilities and Enhances Cybersecurity Posture

Guidehouse was awarded a three-year contract by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for cybersecurity and audit support for the eRA system which processes over $30 billion in grants annually. The project aims to enhance security and audit readiness. Helped by Guidehouse, the eRA decreased closure time for security vulnerabilities by 50%, reduced cross-site scripting and account security vulnerabilities, and boosted cyber resiliency. Their success was recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services in 2022.
