NHS secretary fined for accessing Worcestershire medical records

A former NHS secretary at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, Loretta Alborghetti, has been fined for unlawfully accessing the medical records of 156 patients. A court found she had violated privacy protocols 1,800 times between March and June 2019. The Information Commissioner’s Office’s investigation revealed there was no consent or business reason for the views. Alborghetti was ordered to pay £648.
