Sarah Wilkinson, CEO of NHS Digital, has been named UK Chief Digital Officer of the Year 2017 at the CDO Summit in London. Wilkinson, who took up her role at NHS Digital in 2017, has two decades of experience running complex IT organisations, and has previously served as Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer at The Home Office. She aims to spearhead digital transformation within the healthcare sector. This is the first time the Chief Digital Officer accolade has been awarded within the healthcare industry since it began in 2016.
