NHS digital leaders have urged their suppliers to sign a voluntary cybersecurity charter as part of the ongoing Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, maintaining system integrity and increasing resilience against threats like ransomware. The charter requires suppliers to regularly update their systems, meet the DSPOT’s ‘Standards Met’, utilise multifactor authentication, conduct board-level exercise on incident response, and follow the National Cyber Security Centre’s software code of practice among other essential guidelines.
