A UCLPartners and Health Foundation report indicates that despite artificial intelligence’s (AI) potential to enhance patient care and operational efficiency, its adoption is still in the early stages within London’s NHS. Significant challenges include a lack of proper digital and data infrastructure and the need for additional training and leadership support for staff. The report recommends greater collaboration among NHS organisations, academia, and industry, and a more strategic approach to maximise the benefits of AI.
