NextGen’s Vulnerability: Protecting Healthcare Data

A critical vulnerability, CVE-2023-43208, has been discovered in Mirth Connect, a data integration platform by NextGen HealthCare. This flaw could enable attackers to compromise sensitive healthcare data. The situation is serious as the vulnerability impacts versions of the software dating back to 2015/2016 and serves as a patch bypass for CVE-2023-37679. To avoid potential exploitation, users should update to version 4.4.1.
