GE Healthcare has alerted hospitals and clinics about potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities in its Vivid line of ultrasound devices, detected by cybersecurity firm Nozomi Networks Labs. Meanwhile, Geisinger Health has partnered with Best Buy/Geek Squad to deliver remote patient monitoring devices, streamlining activation and improving patient adherence. In New York, the city’s homeless shelters have used a telehealth program over 5,000 times in the past year. Nutritional health startup Fay has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round.
