New Web injections campaign steals banking data from 50,000 people

IBM’s security team discovered a new malware campaign that targets users’ banking data across 40 banks in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. The malware uses advanced JavaScript web injections and is designed to mimic legitimate JavaScript content to dodge detection. Experts say the campaign, linked to the DanaBot banking trojan, is ongoing, underscoring the need for vigilance while using online banking portals and apps.
