Cracked software sites are distributing Trojan-Proxy malware to Apple macOS users. Cybersecurity firm Kaspersky revealed the malware, which makes money by building a proxy server network or performing criminal acts, is a cross-platform threat. Kaspersky found samples as early as April 28, 2023. Users are advised to avoid downloading software from untrusted sources.
