Security researchers have identified a new malware, ResolverRAT, used in attacks on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Distributed via phishing emails with malicious attachments, ResolverRAT uses in-memory execution, anti-analysis, and payload encryption techniques. The global campaign emails are localized in various languages and use fear-based lures. Morphisec researchers noted the new malware has a distinct loader and payload architecture.
