New Python-Based Discord RAT Attacking Users to Steal Login Credentials

A Python-based Remote Access Trojan (RAT) that uses Discord as its command and control framework has been discovered. The RAT grants cybercriminals the ability to execute system commands, capture screenshots, and steal login credentials from web browsers using a dedicated control channel on Discord servers. The most significant risk to users is the RAT’s ability to extract saved passwords from web browsers, particularly Google Chrome.
