New platform aims to make video easy for healthcare

ThePlatform, a video publishing company owned by Comcast, has launched a cloud-based product called mpx Essentials for the healthcare industry. The platform enables efficient uploading, storing, and distributing of videos on any device. Tim Sale, director of technical sales and program leader of mpx Essentials, expects the product to be successful as healthcare providers increasingly use video for various purposes, from virtual facility tours to patient education programs. The product aims to simplify video management for healthcare providers without the need for web developers or IT professionals.
