New Paubox Report Reveals 60% of Healthcare Orgs Admit Email Security Failure

A new report by Paubox shows that 60% of healthcare organizations had email-related security incidents in the past year which exposed sensitive patient data. However, most of these incidents go unreported with only 5% of phishing attacks and 4% of HIPAA email violations reported to security teams. The report suggests healthcare needs a shift in mindset towards AI, automation and built-in encryption to proactively defend patient data.
