VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center has been awarded a $13m grant from the National Cancer Institute to research effective treatments for liver cancer. It’s the Center’s first P01 grant and will initiate a four-pronged approach to studying liver tumors and advanced treatment options. The project has four research areas, each aiming to increase the efficacy of immunotherapy in liver cancer.
