Cybersecurity firm Proofpoint has detected a variant of the Grandoreiro malware now moving beyond initial targets in Brazil and Mexico and attacking Spanish banks. Grandoreiro is written in Delphi code and enables data theft via keyloggers and screen-grabbers. It can steal banking login information through banking site overlays, and is generally delivered via email.
