Atrium Health revealed a data breach that impacted 585,000 individuals, potentially linked to their use of online tracking tools. The breach, which occurred between January 2015 and July 2019, might have transmitted users’ personal information to third-party vendors like Google and Meta. The exposed data could include IP addresses, treatment information, and personal details filled out in forms, but no financial or Social Security information was found to be compromised.
