New Android Malware Uses .NET MAUI to Evade Detection

McAfee cyber security researchers discovered a wave of Android malware campaigns which exploit Microsoft’s .NET MAUI cross-platform development framework to elude detection and steal user data. These harmful applications masquerade as legitimate services, resulting in potential mobile security risks. McAfee advised users to only download apps from official stores, be cautious of unnecessary app permissions requests and ensure they have up-to-date security software installed.
