Nearly a year since WannaCry and all 200 National Health Service trusts failed cybersecurity assessments

A report by the UK Commons Public Accounts Committee has found that the National Health Service (NHS) is yet to fully implement the necessary cybersecurity measures to prevent future cyber-attacks similar to the WannaCry ransomware attack that crippled the health service a year ago. None of the 200 NHS trusts have passed the cybersecurity assessment by NHS Digital, and some trusts have failed the assessment because they have not patched their systems, leaving them vulnerable to cyber-attacks.
