Unauthorized user accessed the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences network, compromising Medicaid billing information of 279,865 patients. The affected folders were removed and third-party access terminated, but the extent of the breach is still under investigation. Patient names, Medicaid numbers, and provider information were exposed, but not medical records. Patients are advised to monitor healthcare services and report any fraudulent activity. Notification letters were sent out and security measures have been enhanced.
