Nearly 1.6M Android TVs compromised by Vo1d malware botnet

Nearly 1.6 million Android TVs worldwide have been targeted by a novel Vo1d malware botnet. Over half of the compromised devices remain active, with infections peaking in Brazil, South Africa, Indonesia, Argentina, Thailand, China, and India. Users of Android TVs are advised to update security, only download apps from Google Play, and disable remote access features when not needed.
