The National Science Foundation has granted $10 million to researchers at top universities to support their work on cloud and mobile network security in healthcare. The research group, called THaW.org, will focus on developing authentication and privacy tools to protect health records and reduce malicious activity in hospitals. The team will also involve undergraduate and high school students in research and develop an exchange program for postdoctoral fellows and research students.
