Music City in Nashville is among the top US metropolitan areas expected to lose jobs due to artificial intelligence (AI), according to a study by the Chamber of Commerce. Of Nashville’s total roles, 14% (or 145,000 positions) fall into the at-risk category, focused in retail sales, customer service and accounting, among others. However, AI is also expected to create 69 million more jobs by 2027, according to the World Economic Forum.
