Mortgage Giant Mr. Cooper Data Breach; 14 Million Users Impacted

Texas-based mortgage firm Mr. Cooper has experienced a data breach, affecting potentially 14.7 million individuals. Originally believed to only affect 4.3 million current customers, it has been revealed that an additional 10 million former customers could also be compromised. The exposed data included sensitive information, such as names and social security numbers. The company is investigating the full extent of the breach and advising affected customers to monitor their accounts carefully.
