DirectTrust, a non-profit collaborative, reported a significant increase in the number of Direct Exchange transactions, network users, addresses, and transactions. Five new organizations joined DirectTrust, bringing its total membership to 104. The number of healthcare organizations and patients using Direct messaging also saw steady growth. The cumulative total of Direct exchange transactions since 2014 reached 1.2 billion. DirectTrust supports interoperability and patient matching, with the potential for blockchain and distributed ledger technology integration.
