Monash Health caught up in ZircoDATA ransomware data breach

Monash Health, a public healthcare provider, had its data exposed as a result of a ransomware attack on record manager ZircoDATA by the Black Basta gang. The breach involved archived data from Monash Health’s violence and sexual assault support units. The National Cyber Security Coordinator has been assisting ZircoDATA in the aftermath of the attack, investigating the breach and supporting affected clients.
