The Ministry of Health (MOH) recorded 1,342 dengue fever cases and two deaths during epidemiological week 49, up from 1,249 cases the previous week. The total number of dengue cases for the year reached 118,291, with 111 deaths. Health Director-General Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan urged communities to guard against further outbreaks by clearing potential mosquito breeding grounds following floods.
