Mississippi Health System Ransomware Attack Affects 253,000

Mississippi’s Singing River Health System reported a ransomware attack last August that potentially breached the sensitive data of about 253,000 patients. The attackers, cybercriminal gang Rhysida, also disrupted IT systems for several days. Singing River Health System has begun notifying the affected individuals and offering them 12 months of free identity and credit monitoring.
