The Minnesota Department of Education suffered a data breach following a cyberattack on MOVEit software, used for transferring sensitive data files. The breach exposed information on 95,000 foster care students, including names, dates of birth and county of foster care placement. Data on students in the Perham School District and Hennepin Technical College was also compromised. The Clop ransomware group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
