Microsoft Teams, other tools exploited in new vishing scam

Hackers are using Microsoft Teams to distribute malware via voice phishing scams, initiating their attacks with a malicious message on the platform and a voice call urging targets to run a dangerous command, according to a report by Hackread and Ontinue’s Cyber Defense Centre. Although the identity of the hackers remains unclear, the tactics used in the attacks somewhat align with the Storm-1811 operation.
