Microsoft fixes actively exploited Windows CLFS zero-day (CVE-2025-29824)

Microsoft’s April 2025 Patch Tuesday included fixes for over 120 vulnerabilities, with a focus on a zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-29824) being actively exploited. The flaw, within the Windows Common Log File System, allows hackers to increase their privileges within a compromised Windows machine. As of now, security updates for Windows 10 for x64 and 32-bit systems aren’t immediately available but will be released soon, according to Microsoft.
